Judy
Meads first established a Primary Care Consultancy in 1992.
Using her years of experience gained working within the
NHS since 1970, she set out to provide contract services
to Health Authorities, PCTs and GPs, putting her experience
at the disposal of GPs and their staff.
To date we have provided a wide variety
of services including:
- Devising and presenting Training Programmes for Primary
Care
- Fundholding Management
- PMS Management
- Medical Record Summarising
The company
was the first to operate
an independent problem solving solution for practices
in conjunction with a Health Authority and has been written
about extensively in several Health Authority papers.
J.Meads & Associates is
expanding. It became incorporated in February
1998. The Primary
Care Staff Agency was launched in July 1998 offering
a temporary and permanent staff agency for practice based
staff. We now have an extensive client base for this service
both in Primary and Secondary Care.
Since December 2000 J. Meads & Associates have
been involved in assisting both PCTs and individual practices
with medical
record summarising. We have assisted practices across
the country and extensively within the West Midlands, Worcestershire,
Leicestershire, and Yorkshire.
We are registered and inspected yearly by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI).
The company was the first nursing agency in Warwickshire
to be awarded a nursing licence following the introduction
of the new regulations in 2003.
